Cookie Policy

Cookies & similar technologies

In effect from · July 8, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Volume Labs Private Limited uses cookies, local storage and similar technologies on volumelabs.live and in the Service. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. Related technologies include browser localStorage/sessionStorage (which store data in your browser without sending it to a server on every request) and pixels. We use the term “cookies” for all of these.

2. Categories we use

Strictly necessary

  • Authentication & session — keep you signed in and secure your session.
  • Security — CSRF protection, rate-limiting and abuse prevention.
  • Application state — the key volumelabs-demo in localStorage stores your workspace selection and in-product demo state (e.g. selected persona, completed actions) on your device so the product behaves consistently across refreshes. It contains no tracking identifiers.

These cannot be switched off, as the Service cannot function without them.

Functional

  • Preferences such as sidebar state, dismissed banners and interface settings.

Analytics (only if enabled)

  • First-party, privacy-respecting usage analytics that help us understand which features are used and how to improve the Service. Where consent is required by law, analytics run only after you consent, and you can withdraw consent at any time.

Advertising

We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

3. Summary table

Session / auth
Strictly necessary · expires on sign-out or after inactivity
volumelabs-demo (localStorage)
Strictly necessary app state · persists until cleared
Preference keys
Functional · persist until cleared
Analytics identifiers
Analytics · only with consent where required · up to 13 months

4. Your choices

  • Use your browser settings to block or delete cookies and to clear localStorage. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may break sign-in and core features.
  • Where a consent banner is shown, you can accept or reject non-essential categories and change your choice later from the footer link.
  • “Reset demo” inside the product clears the volumelabs-demo state on your device.

5. Cookies set by embedded services

Pages that embed third-party functionality you choose to use (for example a payment checkout or an embedded map) may set their own cookies governed by those providers’ policies. We link to such providers’ terms where they appear.

6. Changes & contact

We may update this Policy as our use of these technologies evolves; the date above reflects the latest revision. Questions: labsvolume@gmail.com.
